Autumn on My Head

Can you see any abnormality in this picture?

Well well...it's come again when I'm not in a good mood...thinking about what I've gained and lost after almost 5 years in this hell of medicine...in summary there were not much improvements... kalo nak pikir mende yg meningkat naik atau bertambah adalah seperti berikut:-
  1. Stress
  2. Tanggungjawab
  3. Topik2 yg perlu dibaca, dipahami, diingati
  4. Berat badan [most prominent!!]
  5. Lain2 yg berkaitan

So..ape yg turun, susut atau gugur?tak berape nak banyak sgt...adelah sikit2

  1. Tidur [konon studylaa...]
  2. Rambut!!

Cakap pasal rambut nih...tak tau nak cakapla sebenarnye...2 3 menjak nih baru perasan macam ade yg tak kena...rase mcm normal jek...tapi bile pagi2 sikat rambut tuh...mmg jelas dan nyata perubahannya...ingat sementare tapi makin lame makin menggila..heh!!but I'm still consider it to be a normal phenomenon cause the loss area is typical of temporal recession of a man...hahah!!

Yang tak tahannye, dah kurang kat atas...yg bwah pulak banyak...opps!!bukan yg bawah tuh... atas sikit dari yg kat bawah tuh...heheh!!ape2 jekla...aku tgh bengung nih nak exam..besela!!nak tgk Mlaysia kalah bola lagik nih..tak tau sempat bace ke tak...wah!!

Forever Loser

A Tribute to Malaysia National Football Team

Once upon a time...

A Tribute to Malaysia National Football Team
A force in Asian football in the late 1970s, Malaysia have suffered a sharp drop-off in recent years and enter the 2007 AFC Asian Cup as the lowest-ranked of the 16 teams.
One of the earliest bastions of football in Asia, Malaysia played an integral role in the development of the sport in the continent as a founder member of the Asian Football Confederation in 1954 and their national team have been involved in every edition of the Asian Cup since 1956.
And for a time in the 1970s, the country’s national team were a genuine power on the continent, reaching the final round of the Asian Cup in 1976 and 1980 and also qualifying for the Olympic Games in 1972 and 1980.
Having topped a qualification group that included Korea Republic in 1976, Malaysia made their first Asian Cup appearance in Iran in a three-team group that also featured Kuwait and China, only to fall at the first hurdle.
The South East Asian side would be frustrated once again four years later when they narrowly failed to make the semi-final cut in Kuwait City, when a draw with Qatar saw eventual winners Kuwait progress to the last four instead.
The 1980 tournament would prove the high watermark for the Malaysian national team, as they failed to qualify for the next six Asian Cups, narrowly missing out on the 1996 finals after finishing runners-up to Indonesia in their qualification group.
In the 2004 qualifiers, they put themselves into a good position to reach the finals in China with draws against Iraq and Bahrain in the first round of matches in Kuala Lumpur.
But they lost all three of their return matches in Manama with an embarrassing 2-1 defeat to Myanmar putting paid to their qualification hopes once again as Malaysia’s disappointing record in continental competition continued.

Malaysia’s ranking reached an all-time low of 33rd in Asia and 157th in the world in January but they gave fans something to cheer that same month when they reached the semi-finals of the Asean Football Championship despite a 1-0 defeat to Thailand in the group stage.
The four-time SEA Games gold-medallists were within sight of their first appearance in the Asean final since 1996 when Eddy Helmi Manan gave them a 2-1 aggregate lead against Singapore in the second leg of their semi-final.
However, Ridhuan Muhammad’s equaliser 16 minutes from time forced the match into extra time and a penalty shootout, which was won by the island republic side after Khyril Muhymeen missed Malaysia’s final attempt.
Despite that near miss, Malaysian fans are far from optimistic about the prospects of Norizan Bakar’s side at the Asian Cup and progress to the knockout stage from a group that includes Iran, China and Uzbekistan does indeed appear unlikely for the co-hosts and one-time powers of Asian football.
Coach Profile
Norizan Bakar
DoB: 27/01/1961
Nationality: Malaysian
Appointed: Sept 2005
When former Hungarian international Bertalan Bicskei was removed as head coach of Malaysia just before the South East Asian Games in 2005, the FA of Malaysia turned to then Penang coach Norizan Bakar.
Norizan was an assistant to both Abdul Rahman Ibrahim and Allan Harris from 1999 to 2003 before leaving to take charge of Perlis in 2003. He had a successful time with the Northern Lions, guiding them to an FA Cup final in 2003 before winning the coveted Malaysia Cup in 2004.
Seeking a fresh challenge, he took charge at Penang the next season but the islanders struggled, escaping relegation by virtue of goal difference. Rubbing salt into the wound, Perlis ran away with the league title with Pahang 10 points behind in second place.
The former Perlis forward was given only two months to whip the Malaysia team into shape for the 2005 SEA Games and managed to guide the team to a bronze medal finish in the Philippines. That was enough to convince the FAM to stop looking for a foreign coach and allow Norizan to continue with the team.
A poor showing at the invitational Merdeka Tournament in the build up to the Asean Football Championship had the critics baying for his blood but the FAM kept faith in Norizan. He came close to taking the team to their first Asean football final since 1996, losing on penalties to neighbours Singapore in the semi-final.
With Malaysia in what Norizan had quickly termed the group of death for the Asian Cup with Iran, China and Uzbekistan for company, not many Malaysian fans will expect much from the 48-year-old at possibly the biggest tournament of his career.

Got Psyched?!

Yosh!! 1st week in PSY posting in HTAR was quite loose…a bit different from what we’ve expected…after an ultra short holiday before entering the final year, this week can be called a ‘warm-up’ week…we just have one lecture and a seminar…with 2 days in the clinic seeing a few patients…the lecturers also were not very strict…perhaps to give some space for us to get started…

As always, the space given by them was used to enjoy and enjoy…regardless the remaining 8 months before the final year exam…we finally arrived to a decision to go to Klang Shaw centre point to watch Shrek the 3rd movie…and guess what there were 12 of us went there and really got into fits of laughter seeing Shrek and Donkey get retarded!!

That happened on Thursday in which the clinic was off since the doctors and lecturers were attending the conference somewhere in KL…and to complete the warm-up week we held a picnic somewhere in the jungle in Ulu Yam with chicken BBQ and kerang bakar...yum2!! But that was in Saturday…

Are we hallucinating? This is year 5 man!! Still got time to enjoy huh?

A holiday to remember...

My one week holiday after the end of year 4 was quite good…I really enjoyed myself with the activities at home…with my family and friends!! Of course 50% of the time I spent it to hibernate and got my muscles relaxed from the academic works…including my sleepy brain…heh!!

“HomeSweetHome – my house is a post office?!!”

I went back home with Eddy…he also went back to Pekan to attend his relative’s marriage…I’m not sure who was the person he was talking about…even he also don’t know the person..hahah!!ni laa padahnye bile dah lame tak balik kampong…sedare mare pon dah lupe…sepupu pon dah bertambah…hu!! We supposed to fed our empty stomach with a plate of deliscious ikan baker in Tanjung Lumpur but it was cancelled because Eddy got his long lost forgotten ‘friend’ who suddenly came out of nowhere to pay a short and brief visit…he had migraine headache with aura!!--> Read more about migrainous eddy

It was interesting but very unfortunate since the holiday only lasted for 1 week…nothing much can be done…but I really don’t know what to do at home…so you can understand why I was dozing off 50% of the time…yosh!!

Delicious home-made foods
This is the main reason why I really want to go back home…after months and weeks of eating nasi goring or nasi paprik that azahari bought from medan selera…I’ve got the chances to have my all-time favourite dish…sambal buah mempelam!! That was very nice...pedas..masam..manis and with a smell of belacan made me always looking forward to fed my full stomach…slurpp!! I can eat any other dishes such as as ikan amsak singgang or ikan masin as long as this sambal is on the table…one more was lempeng cicah sambal sardin à wah…splendid!! Only my mom knows how to cook it nicely…yummy!! I will roll the lempeng and cut it into small pieces (like a swiss roll) and then cicah all of them with sardine…what a mouth-watering meal!!

Kenduri Kahwin
Ehem…I always think of nasi minyak served in kenduri kahwin when I went to hospital café…they can’t make a good nasi minyak!!plus the price was expensive and maybe it was cooked and prepared by bangla or amah whose never had even a plate of nasi minyak in their hometown…you can at least expect how suck it taste!!Another issue was that…the kenduri kahwin was for my aunt’s younger brother who married to a lady who then turned to be a dua pupu to Eddy (sort of…)…well it looks like Eddy and me now are connected because of this marriage…bau bau bacang org putih kate!!

Murtabak Mengkasar
You are said not have been to Pekan if you’re not try even a piece of Murtabak Mengkasar which is very popular in this town…but I don’t know in details about the history or their milestones in murtabak making but one thing that I know very sure…you can’t get this type of murtabak elsewhere…even in the Klang Valley!! It is not the same type of murtabak that you see in pasar malam or bazaar Ramadan…and of course it taste better!! It costs RM4 each and RM6 for special murtabak (plus egg-wrapping).

“yum yum…jalan2 cari murtabak…!!”

Full body massage
Huah!! I’ve got a very bad pain on my right ankle for the past few months…and you can guess why I’ve got the pain…my BMI was progressively increased!! Then a few of differential diagnoses came into my mind are osteoarthritis (I’m too you to get this!!), Achilles tendinitis, bursitis (most likely…I think). That was why I asked my dad to urut a bit…then he started to perform some reflexology and physiotherapy in which they were very effective since the pain was reduced and eventually disappear…he! And to complete the session I’ve got the other parts of my body massaged and hell yeah it was very pain as my father told that many of my urat saraf were not in a good alignment…so the massage will realign back all of them and remove the ‘angin’ in my body…uuukkkk!!

Pokok Kuini
I don’t realize that a big tree at the back of my house is a kuini tree until I came back home when my mom made sambal belacan + buah kuini. I don’t think that big tree is a kuini tree!! What ever~

“mai mai sekilo 5 ringgit…!!”

Pekan Fest 2007

Since Dato’ Najib became the Deputy Prime Minister…this town finally has its own festival…how should I describe it? It was ala-ala Jom Heboh TV3...but with the participation from the royal family of Pahang…they’ve also ‘turun padang’ to enjoy the activities with rakyat jelata…a lot of activities held during this festival…you just name it! Memang riuh sekampung…macam2 ada!! They’ve got a lot of booths from the government organizations, armed forces…and cool demos such as powerboat and drift… phewhh!! There was also paintball competition..bla bla bla!! Lots of things to tell ya…

"Dimana kan ku cari ganti..."

Yosh...finally it comes to the end of year 4...just finished our medicine theory paper which was fair and square...the MCQs were quite difficult and challenging...and the essay questions was quite easy...2 cases of left lobar orthostatic pneumonia and Parkinson's disease...damn I was the person who were presenting about Parkinsonism in Neuro HKL...but I have no time to revise it again last nite since I went to sleep in front of the TV while waiting for AC Milan victory against Liverpool...nice Kaka!!

Em...like the other postings...I don't know what to do after this...we have a week break before entering the final year...wah!!too short to enjoy the holidays and get a peace in my mind...hu!!I'm just thinking what I've lost since I entered this course...wa!! I miss 'them' so much!!

"my precious.."

I was in a school band since form 1...I choosed to play a C flute because I like seruling buluh and those who playing it look smart and handsome...hahah!!what a stupid reasons!! It took 2 years for me to master the fingering and got the pitch right and that time I can play all the notes in 4 octaves just in one minute!! I never regrets playing it since the sound was so nice and peaceful... all my stress and problems went away thru its sounds and melody [and of course all the stress and probelms came back again after I stop playing it..haha!!]...Now, it has been 5 years since I left it and maybe I have lost the skills and the techniques...aii!! Sure tokwan dah lagik power dari aku...die ade flute sendiri bole laa practice...ceh!!

"Shina shina STAR!!"

I also joined my school rugby team...eventhough I was not a good player and represents the state...I did enjoy my training and learning about the game...we were so proud being the ruggers or better known as STAR CobraTasha...we were very enjoyed and loved this game!! "the rough game played by gentlemen.." - that what was arwah Nawi often said to me...

"paint the sunway red..."

I have lost my campus life...no more hot UiTM chicks to flirt around and no more active social life...now it's all about patient and medicine...boring!! Thinking about it everyday make my brain sizzled...I'm at the point of feeling nauseated when going to the ward...fuh!! It's very hard to hang around with my friends from the old school aw well as my non-meds friends...poor me!! My girl also has to suffer..being so lonely and missing me a lot...hu!!

I really lost 'them'...and I'm always hoping to get them back...damn I really want it!!
