It's been a while since my last entry in this blog...sebab musabab pertama takde mood nak tulis..dan jugak takde mase nak tulis bile mood ade...heh!

Posting surgery aku lagik sebulan..mmg siksa jwa raga...tapi byk yg aku belajar dr ape yg aku buat dari awal pagi hingga lewat malam aku bekerja....

Later i'll come with more news...tgh jiwa kacau nih mmg susah nak dpt mood berblogging ni...kan nuai kan...hahahah!!

Me & Medical

Damn!! Just finish my tagging period in medical department. As the others always saying about it, medical does suck a lot especially in term of the work load...people keep on falling sick...does the human don't know how to take care of themselves anymore?

It's damn tired everyday whether the ward is active or not...I poke poke poke....suck suck suck for the blood and send it in bundles to the lab, feels much more of daytime dracula...cis!! I dislike medical as much as I dislike Mawi...hahaha!! To make my life more misery, some of the colleagues are damn calculative...they are practicing what we called as cubicalism...means he or she just doing the works in his or her cubicle only, regardless how many patient they have in that cubicle. They just don't have the spirit of teamwork like trying to help their ward colleagues who have got more works to do...this thing really discourages me from enjoying my daily work as a 'hamba orang' (H.O)...no matter how many h.o we have in the ward, it feels like we are working alone...fuhh!!

I just have to wait for another 3 months before I move on to the next posting...hopefully things will get better as the day goes by...most of the M.Os are friendly and helpful...it is just the workload that make our life in misery...pinjh!!

I Know What You Did Last December...

Yosh!!just woke up after quite a long tiring on call yesterday...as usual O&G dept is busy as always plus with higher incidence of poor progress mother and fetal distress which ended up with emergency LSCS...aii!! Now if you came to 40-bedded post natal ward, you can see more than half of them were the post-LSCS patients...pinjhh!!!

I was in charge of screening yesterday..the place I hate the most since all sort of patients with all sort of weird problems come to seek for treatment. But that's not the main story that I want to tell you...I realized that yesterday around 95% of patient came to screening room yesterday shared one common thing...their last normal menstrual period was in December which means they're already term; came in labor or prom etc. Then I started to think that why there are so many pregnant lady with their LNMP in December...

My impressions are:-

1- Last December was a school holiday...so bile sebut cuti sekolah nih maka berebut-rebutlaa orang nak kahwin sane sini..kenduri kendare bersuke ria...ape lagik selamat laa first nite diorang with a successful fertilization...

2- Mase cuti tuh pon ramai gak pasangan suami isteri yg ambik cuti rehat dari bekerja...bawak anak2 pegi jalan2 cuti2 malaysia laa konon...anak seronot jalan2 mak ayah stay kat hotel jek...jeng jeng jeng!!!

3- Budak2 sekolah pon same naik jugak cam org dah kahwin nih...dah boring takde ape nak buat..keluar laa ngan pakwe makwe sampai tengah malam...kene yg group liar sket nih lepas tunggang barang setin due alkohol...maka hanyut laa dibuai kehangatan malam...aaahhh!!! Sebab tuh kat sini ramai jugak yg single parent..bole tahan gak org Kuantan nih...every week sure ade 2 3 org yg in labor..kadang2 dari Dungun ngan Kemaman pon dtg gengjoin..memeriahkan suasana..aii naseb laa!!

9 months after all of these things happened in December...it was destined that I'm on called on weekend...then these people came in to screening room like a bunch of school kids went for a "rombongan sambil belajar ke KLCC"...dahlaa aku 2 org jek cover busy nak mampus!! Anyway it's quite a good experience to deal with all of these patients...

p/s: to Razak Mohaideen..instead of directing stupid story like I know what you did last raya..why don't you go deeper into our social problem among the teenage pregnancies and elaborate the bad consequences of their uncontrolled lust towards sex..it can be a "pecah panggung" movie you know...I've already got the title for you "I Know What You Did Last December.."..so what are you waiting for? Action!!!

Working Hours

Usually the houseman should start working from 0700H everyday inclusive of weekends. However for those yg bekerja mcm siput kene laa datang awal kan..lepas subuh ke takpon the night before utk study psl patient ngan buat summary utk grand round. If oncall, you will be in ward from 0700H today until 1700H the next day provided the works have been settled. If not you should finished all the works before going back home to SLEEEEP!!!

What is that? HAHAHAH!! It has been a long time I don't have a proper & decent meal as described above. The rule is that, whenever you got few minutes free time, you can grab a bun or muffin with a can of nescafe latte to keep you going. It would be worse if you're post call...uhuhu!!! I hate EOD on call, it's so damn tired and you will never have an appetite to eat even though you're damn hungry. It's only about SLEEEP!!

"This my energy top up when I'm in OT assissting neverending Elective LSCS and waiting for in coming Emergency LSCS...yum!!"

"I've always had muscle cramps, so I had some 'banana-time' at night to restore my potassium level. It works for the time being. Maybe later I should had IV drip 1 pint NS with 1gm KCL...hahah!!"

Apart from that...I don't know what to tell anymore. My life right now is so damn boring!! Woke up in the morning, goes to work then come back home sleep and then woke the next morning again, doing the same cycle. Seriously, it sucks a lot!!

Sorry, it seems like I've not been updating my case notes quite for a long time already...being busy since the start of induction courses until I've been posted to HTAA Kuantan about a month ago...a lot of things happened recently and I could not manage to share most of them with you for the time being....currently still adjusting to the new boring life as a houseman...damn!! I hate it so much!! If I were to know how it feels, I am sure I will not pursue my study in medicine...heheheh!!! Sounds like frustrated man...

Probably I will update my case notes within this month. Hopefully I can fully adapt to this new lifestyle as soon as possible. Gaji tak masuk2 lagik!!! Tiada motivasi untuk bekerja seperti hamba abdi...
